With 25 years experience in educational research, assessment, and accountability, Dr. Shula Nedley, Consulting, is providing assistance to Pennsylvania School Districts in the areas of PSSA interpretation and use, local school assessment development and use, data-driven decision making, and school improvement planning. After spending four years in Harrisburg as the Bureau Director of the Bureau of Assessment & Accountability I know that misunderstandings and misuse of the PSSA results still exist and that the free data tools (to examine the data) are under-utilized.
My Goal: Know Thy Assessments! Know Thy Data! -- to equip school districts to understand and use their assessments and their school data so that they can plan for continuous school improvement and implement and monitor a successful plan.
